Get Personal Help With Your Job Search

At Employment Services (formerly LDS Jobs), we'll help you become gainfully employed through education and networking with local companies.

Employment Resource Services (ERS) offers a variety of services and resources to aid you in getting the personal help you need when searching for a new job.

Support for Church Leaders

ERS supports Church leaders as they address the needs of people in their stakes and wards. At the stake president or bishop’s request, ERS staff can train quorum and Relief Society leaders, stake and ward employment specialists, or other leaders.

The Career Workshop

The Career Workshop is a course that can help you set career goals and plan how you will achieve them. It also provides an introduction into what you can to do to acquire more education or become self-employed. In the workshop, you will learn how to present your strengths in an interview, write an effective résumé or curriculum vitae, and make a career successful. Learn more about the Career Workshop.

Self-Employment Workshop

The Self-Employment Workshop focuses on helping you learn how to create a successful business plan. You will learn about the elements of a business plan and apply what you learn. Learn more about the Self-Employment Workshop.

Professional Placement Program

This program helps you as a professional, manager, or executive to find or improve your employment. As part of the Professional Placement Program, ERS teaches a version of the Career Workshop directed to professionals. The program also has networking meetings, one-on-one consultations, professional resources, and facilities and equipment to conduct job searches. Learn more about the Professional Placement Program.
